Privacy

We don't want your data.

This is a page you read. There is no account, no login, and nothing to fill in. The short version: we don't track you and we have nothing to sell.

Last updated 9 September 2026.

The short version

  • No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording, no A/B testing tools.
  • No cookies. This site sets none. Nothing is stored in your browser by us.
  • No third-party trackers. No advertising networks, no social media tracking scripts, no embedded fonts loaded from someone else's server.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile of you to build.
  • We never sell, rent or share data. Not to advertisers, not to partners, not to anyone. There is no circumstance in which we would.

What does get processed, and by whom

We would rather be accurate than say "we collect nothing", which is never quite true of anything on the internet.

WhatWhyWho
Your IP address and browser type, in server logs Unavoidable in delivering a web page, and used to keep the site up and block attacks Our hosting provider, briefly, as part of serving the site
Your email address and whatever you write Only if you choose to email us. We reply, and that's it Us, and our email provider

That is the complete list. We do not have a mailing list, we do not send newsletters, and we will not add you to anything because you wrote to us.

If you email us

We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation, and then we delete it. We don't add you to a database, we don't profile you, and we don't pass what you wrote to anyone else.

Please don't send us clinical or crisis information. We are not clinicians, our inbox is not monitored around the clock, and it is not a safe place for anything urgent. If it is urgent, the crisis numbers are staffed and we are not.

Links to other sites

We link out to helplines, public services and partner organisations. Once you follow a link you are on their site under their privacy policy, which we don't control. The helplines we list are chosen partly because they permit anonymous contact.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice the answer is usually "an email thread, and it's gone." Write to hello@safehere.org and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is written to be safe for anyone to read, including under-18s. We don't knowingly collect information about anyone, which includes children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. If it ever changed materially — if we started collecting something — we would say so plainly here rather than quietly editing a clause.
